The War on Surveys Continues…

In my previous blog, here: https://www.humaxa.com/post/why-did-we-start-humaxa, I wrote about how I have YET to encounter a single soul who likes taking surveys. A summary of the feedback I heard:

1.    Nothing Happens: “I spent time pouring my heart out and nothing happened.”

2.   Not My Job:“I have to stop what I’m doing and go take a survey that is not a part of my job.”

3.   Wrong Timing:“The timing’s all wrong – it’s too late. The survey and resulting actions take way too long and the time to take action has passed by the time we get around to it.”

This week I’m writing about “It’s not my job.” Typically, workers have to stop what they’re doing to answer survey questions that have nothing to do with what they’re doing day in and day out. Some folks I talked to purposefully wait as long as they possibly can because they hope HR will simply go away and stop bugging them to take the survey or surveys.

I knew there had to be a better way!

So I asked myself: What if there were no survey questions, just a fun, friendly, anonymous assistant that asked about work topics fromtime to time, right in the flow of work? What if you didn’t have to stop what you’re doing and instead, stay right where you are – in either Microsoft Teams or Slack – to chat with the anonymous assistant? What if it was up to you tochat when you had a free moment? What if the anonymous digital assistant would instantly try to help you, personally?

Have you experienced this? What do you think would happen?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas!
